Garrett Holeve – Trains adaptive athletes, mixed martial arts competitor

At 28 Garrett is a unique athlete who competes in Mixed Martial Arts, Pro Wrestling, and Fitness Competitions. His accomplishments include being the first ever person with Down Syndrome to have a sanctioned MMA bout.

In 2014 Garrett was named the National Down Syndrome Society Self-Advocate of the year. Garrett is a Certified Coach for other Adaptive Athletes, featured by ESPN, The Guardian & CrossFit.

Garrett Holeve is the founder of Garrett’s Fight for Fitness – the foundation’s mission strives to turn disabilities into abilities by making the necessary modifications to training and finding ways to conquer one’s limitations.


Searching social media for like-minded people who share a passion for fitness, we came upon a man the media calls G-money. G-money is taking his obsession for working out and bridging a necessary gap for teens and adults with special needs to live a healthy lifestyle.
