Cheyenne Eldridge – OCR Elite competitor, achieve podium in Greece
My name is Cheyenne, but everyone calls me Chey. I am a competitive OCR athlete, in 2018 I ran 36 Spartan races spanning 15 states and 3 countries. I competed in the Spartan Trifecta Championship in Sparta, Greece and actually podiumed with a 3rd place in my age.
Something most people don’t know about me is that I didn’t come from an athletic background. I was actually living a wreckless lifestyle, drinking, binge eating and partying. In 2016 I decided to make a life change. Through proper diet and daily workouts I lost 50+ lbs and began running. I turned my life around and began focusing on positivity and living healthy.
By 2017 I started running Spartan race competitively and coined for SWC in Lake Tahoe. I have continued to push for the next challenge and continue to train and race OCR. I try to be a positive face in the community and inspire more people every year to harness their own strength and run these races.
Living life to the fullest and smiling through every obstacle that life throws at you is how you become an Inspyr ambassador. Cheyenne caught the eye of an Inspyr team member from her IG post of her biting on her spartan medal while holding her dog. With further investigation we came upon a woman with an empowering mindset and pictures to prove it. When your bio reads, “living my best life and lover of donuts and coffee,” that sealed it. Welcome aboard Cheyenne, your newest journey has arrived!
