Four Ways To Inspyr Others In Your Community

Some people lead, some people follow, and some people spend their lives trying to motivate others. Here at Inspyr, we think that inspiration moves in a domino effect. We can only attempt to inspire others because we’ve been inspired by someone else. If we can inspire someone today, who will they inspire tomorrow? And how many more people will benefit from these toppling dominoes of motivation?

Our ultimate goal at Inpyr is to empower and motivate people all over the world to be the absolute best versions of themselves, and one way we do that is through our inspirational socks and workout gear. We all have different journeys and backgrounds, and one person’s best might look different from another’s, but we can all strive to be better than we were yesterday. Whether that means being kinder, being braver, being more patient, or being physically stronger, it’s all part of the journey. When we strive to be better, we can inspire those around us to be better too.

We have a lot of people ask us, “How can I be inspirational to others?” In today’s blog, we are going to offer a few ways you can inspire others in your community. Keep reading to get Inspyred!

Share Your Victories

Sharing your victories can make other people think, “Huh, maybe I could do that, too,” or, “If my Facebook friend did a Tough Mudder five months after giving birth, then I’m strong enough to go to the gym today/clean the house/apply for that new job I’ve been eyeing/etc.”

Social media is a great way to share your journey with others. If you do something you’re proud of, let your friends, family, and even strangers know. Not only will this make you feel good and give you the motivation you need to keep on believing and achieving, it might also inspire someone else to reach for their goals a little harder. When doing this, share any struggles you encounter along the way to remind people that nobody’s perfect, but with a little hard work you can do it.

Build Relationships

Whether you are at work or at your gym, volunteering at an assisted living home or coaching a youth sports team, focus on building deep relationships with your coworkers, employees, athletes, and gym buddies. You spend so much time with these people that shallow relationships become mutually unbeneficial. Take the time to get to know people, show them your heart, and prove to them by example that you are someone worthy of inspiring them.

Inspyr Others Through Clothing

We started Inspyr because we were tired of seeing negative content printed all over t-shirts and clothing everywhere we looked. We thought, what if we could create a motivational clothing brand that inspired others rather than brought them down? Our athletic crew socks are especially good at achieving this purpose. These socks with inspirational quotes on the back not only support you athletically as you work out or walk around, but they also support you and others mentally by offering encouraging words like ‘Work Hard’, ‘Never Quit,’ and ‘Believe.’ Sometimes all someone needs to keep going is two words!

Build People Up

Building others up is one of the best ways to inspire them to keep on that upward trajectory. Identify ‘wins’ that you notice in others, especially small wins that often go unnoticed. Maybe a kid on the T-Ball team you’re coaching didn’t hit the ball, but she swung with confidence. Point it out. If one of your coworkers got a new haircut, tell him it looks good. If you see someone wearing a nice pair of inspirational socks at the gym, let them know they reminded you to push harder. If your service at a restaurant is above and beyond, tell the server’s manager how impressed you are (and leave them a great tip!). Building others up not only boosts their confidence, but it can remind them to also give someone a compliment and build someone else up.

How Will You Inspire Others Today?

Our inspirational workout socks are designed to remind you to be a better you every time you pull them on. We hope that by building the Inspyr Tribe — our community of customers and partners who have transformed themselves mentally and physically through fitness and inspiration — we can help ourselves and you inspire countless others in your communities and around the world. We hope the above points were a good start! If you have an inspirational story you’d like to share with us or you’re interested in becoming a fitness brand ambassador and sporting our inspirational running socks, drop us a line! We’d love to hear from you!
